Danny Wright: Home for the Holidays

Danny Wright and special guests ring in the holiday season in the most spectacular way. The internationally-renowned artist performs favorites from his broad repertoire of traditional Christmas songs, classical works and music from Broadway & film on a nine-foot Steinway Grand piano. Wright is one of few pianists who has mastered such a diverse range of styles and combined them with heartwarming grace.
Las Vegas Philharmonic – Pops II – A Very Vegas Holiday

A perfect outing for the entire family, this holiday program is filled with musical joys of the season. Special guests Mayor Carolyn G. Goodman and Former Mayor Oscar B. Goodman will narrate “A Night Before Christmas,” percussionists from Foothill High School will put a unique twist on “Little Drummer Boy” and the North Pole’s most famous resident might even make a special appearance.

Symphony Park
The Smith Center will host a complimentary holiday concert with singer and famed Broadway actress Linda Eder in Symphony Park. The “Star Search” alum and Drama Desk Award-winner, will delight audiences with a special concert amidst seasonal holiday décor including a staggering 23-foot holiday tree strung with 11,500 lights. Known for her starring role in Frank Wildhorn’s Broadway production of “Jekyll & Hyde,” Eder will perform signature tunes and favorite holiday classics. The concert is complimentary and general admission but tickets must be reserved online at www.TheSmithCenter.com.

This is “The Nutcracker” like it’s never been seen before – a brand-new, original production featuring new sets, costumes and surprises, yet to be revealed. Choreographed by the Nevada Ballet Theatre’s Artistic Director James Canfield, this highly anticipated rendition will be a treat for all ages and is sure to become a Las Vegas favorite.

Dave Koz and Friends Christmas Tour 2012, a cherished holiday tradition marking its 15th Anniversary, is an uplifting, high-energy show the whole family will love.
