Jim Caruso's Cast Party, the extreme open mic that has been running at Birdland in NYC for the past eight years, made it's debut at the Alexis Park Resort in Las Vegas on April 24 and 25. The evenings were so successful that a follow-up booking is planned for September 21 and 22.
Host Caruso and musical director Billy Stritch were dazzled by the extraordinary talent that showed up, including Vegas favorite Clint Holmes, show business legend Mimi Hines and headliners like Frankie Moreno, Reva Rice, Eric Jordan Young, Dezmond Meeks, Moya Angela, Douglas Crawford, Deven May, Travis Cloer, Bill Fayne, Kelly Clinton-Holmes, Joelle Righetti, Cortes Alexander, George DeMott, cast members from Jersey Boys, The Lion King and Vegas: The Show. Magician Joel Ward, guitarist/songwriter Conrad Korsch, and the vocal groups Dangerous Curves and Fifth Avenue also took the stage to entertain their peers and fans.
