Photo Flash: Carrot Top, Michael Godard and More at Minus5 Ice Bar's Winter Wonderland Experience

This holiday season, guests can make their winter wonderland dreams in the desert a reality thanks to the coolest bar in Sin City – Minus5 Ice Bar, where all that glitters is ice. Located inside the Monte Carlo Resort & Casino, Minus5 is spreading holiday cheer with hand-crafted, holiday-themed ice sculptures and specialty ice cocktails all season long.

To kick off the season of good tidings, Minus5 invited a selection of entertainers throughout Las Vegas to be a part of its Winter Wonderland experience. Notables who attended include Comedian Carrot Top, Celebrity Chef Rick Moonen, Multi-Talented Entertainer Terry Fator, Comedy Hypnotist Marc Savard, Rock Start Artist Michael Godard and cast members from The Broadway Theater (New York - New York Hotel & Casino), FANTASY (Luxor Hotel and Casino), Menopause the Musical (Luxor Hotel and Casino) and Thunder from Down Under (Excalibur Hotel and Casino).

Guests mingled and decked the ice halls with Minus5 mascot Slushie the Penguin, and posed with an assortment of festive holiday-inspired sculptures, including a snowman, elf and fireplace, while they enjoyed frosty cocktails to commemorate the most wonderful time of the year.

Created in New Zealand, Minus5 is a unique ice-themed experience where guests enjoy quality vodka cocktails served in a glass made of pure ice, all within in the beauty of a -5° Celsius (23° Fahrenheit) ice environment. This chilly experience begins with donning Minus5 parkas, gloves and boots and entering a frozen room complete with ice walls, an ice bar, ice seating covered with faux fur pelts, ice tables, and a variety of ice sculptures. The experience is rounded out with a state-of-the-art sound and LED light show. Upon exiting, guests can purchase 5 x 7 framed color photographs as a permanent memory of their time spent at Minus5 Ice Bar.
