Determined to get him back, Elle uses her charm to get into Harvard Law. At school, she struggles with peers, professors, and Warner Huntington. With the help of Paulette and Emmett, though, Elle quickly realizes her potential and sets out to prove herself to the world.This musical is relatively new to the theatre world, catering to the present-day's generation and culture. Jeff and Hunter, two struggling writers, hear about a new musical theatre festival. However, the deadline for submissions is a mere three weeks away. With nothing to lose, the pair decides to try to create something new with the help of their friends Susan, Heidi and Larry on the eighty-eights.
With the cast in place, Jeff and Hunter begin a conversation about what to write about. Eventually, Jeff Suggests they write about what to write about. They make a pact to write up until the festival?s deadline and dream about the show changing their lives.

JASON & DEMARCO: LIVE IN CONCERT CELEBRATING FAMILIES OF DIVERSITY Onyx Theatre 2/26-2/26/2013
"It's not the destination; it's the journey". Beginning Friday, February 1, 2013 Jason & deMarco will embark on their 'Jason & deMarco Concert Tour "Celebrating Families of Diversity', a 35-day, 22-city Southwest and West coast U.S. concert tour. The duo will be traveling with their one-year old twin sons, Mason and Noah, and Jason's parents, Bob and Karen. The family will stop along the way at various venues and events, sharing their story during a time of inspiring music, presentations and Q&A. They have released six CD's and several singles, two that climbed the Billboard charts and a music video for their hit song "This is Love" that won "Video of the Year" on LOGO in 2006. Jason & deMarco's most recent album release is SAFE. They will perform many of the tracks from the album on their "Celebrating Families of Diversity" tour as well as new arrangements to well known songs that they haven't recorded yet including "Imagine" and "Hallelujah".

Marjorie Taub, the wife of a philanthropic allergist, is engulfed in a life crisis of Medea-like proportions. Her children are grown, her beloved therapist died recently and her mother, obsessed with bowel movements, grates on her nerves. She tries to lose herself in a world of art galleries, foreign films and avant garde theatre, but finds she is barely able to rouse herself from her sofa. Her spirits suddenly soar when a fascinating and incredibly worldly friend from her childhood appears on her doorstep and introduces Marjorie to things both wild, funny, and sometimes unwelcome.

Rodgers & Hammerstein's first collaboration remains, in many ways, their most innovative, having set the standards and established the rules of musical theatre still being followed today. Set in a Western Indian territory just after the turn of the century, the high-spirited rivalry between the local farmers and cowboys provides the colorful background against which Curly, a handsome cowboy, and Laurey, a winsome farm girl, play out their love story. Although the road to true love never runs smooth, with these two headstrong romantics holding the reins, love's journey is as bumpy as a surrey ride down a country road. That they will succeed in making a new life together we have no doubt, and that this new life will begin in a brand-new state provides the ultimate climax to the triumphant OKLAHOMA! In this adaptation for pre-high school students, the content has been edited to better suit younger attention spans, but all the elements that make this show a classic are still in place. You and your students will be enchanted by the timeless story and the dazzling score, while at the same time learning about theater and its production.
