Menopause The Musical® has made the much-deserved move to the Las Vegas Strip and Luxor's Atrium Showroom. Over the course of the last three years in Las Vegas, this "little show that could" has performed 1,534 times and worldwide has played to more than 11 million people in 250 cities in 13 countries. In Las Vegas alone, Menopause The Musical® has entertained nearly 500,000 guests.

Inspired by a hot flash and a bottle of wine, writer and producer Jeanie Linders created the show as a celebration of women who are on the brink of, in the middle of, or have survived "The Change." From its first performance, the show has evolved as a "grass-roots" movement of women who deal with life after 40 and all the challenges that result in the mental, physical and spiritual freedom of the post-World War II baby boomer generation. The Las Vegas cast will include Queen Emily, a finalist in last year's America's Got Talent, as well as Paige O'Hara, the voice of Belle in the Disney classic Beauty and the Beast. Additional cast members include local favorites Laura Lee O'Connell, Annette Verdolino, Cheryl Spencer, Sandra Benton and Lori Legacy.

MENOPAUSE THE MUSICAL plays Wednesdays through Mondays at 5:30 p.m.; Tuesdays at 8 p.m.

Tickets are $59.95-$49.95, plus tax and handling fees. Tickets can be purchased at the Luxor Box Office or to charge by phone call the Luxor Box Office at (800) 557-7428 or (702) 262-4400 or online www.luxor.com.
