Iration to Perform at Hard Rock Cafe on the Strip, 2/24

Reggae band Iration brings their Hawaiian sounds to the Hard Rock Cafe on the Las Vegas Strip with special guests.

Born from a love of music with elements of reggae, rock, pop, and dub, Iration has a truly unique sound, blending keyboard / synth with melodic vocals.

The band released their first full length album No Time for Rest in 2007 which featured one of the last recorded performances by reggae legend Mikey Dread. The band embarked on a national tour titled Playboys in Paradise in the spring of ’08 in support of the band Pepper, traveling some 16,000 miles and playing to numerous sold out shows. Later that year they released a collection of recordings called Sample This, a four song EP which debuted at #3 on iTunes top reggae albums. In March of 2010, Iration released their highly anticipated 3rd album, Time Bomb, which debuted at #2 on Billboard’s reggae album chart. In February of 2011, the band released their EP Fresh Grounds.

Iration has shared the stage with some of the most talented names of today, including Kings of Leon, 311, Incubus, Bush and many others. They have also performed at events such as Cypress Hills Annual Smoke Out Festival, West Beach Music Festival, Lollapalooza and Sunset Strip Music Festival.

These five Hawaiian born boys spend much time on the road touring and are a band that is best when experienced live, spreading their original sound and aloha spirit. The band just came back from their second annual Lei’d Back headlining tour, hitting some 30 plus markets.
