Donny and Marie Extend Run at Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas

Donny-and-Marie-Extend-Their-Run-At-The-Flamingo-Hotel-In-Las-Vegas-20010101

It is and has always been "a little bit country and a little bit rock and roll" for America's dynamic duo, brother and sister act, Donny and Marie Osmond. Due to their never-ending popularity, Donny & Marie will continue to entertain sold-out audiences with an extension to perform at Flamingo Las Vegas with shows confirmed through 2013. They were recently voted "Best All-Around Performers," "Best Show" and "Best Singer" by the readers of the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

"Donny and I are thrilled to have extended our residency here at Flamingo Las Vegas, which has become a wonderful second home to us," said Marie. "Who knew that when we first signed a limited six-week engagement back in 2008, that it would turn into a multi-year run! It is a dream come true for us."

"When we first wanted to return to Vegas and were looking for showrooms, I saw the one at the Flamingo and immediately knew that this was it, this was the one. It was traditional Vegas, and it was intimate enough yet big enough to support a larger production show. It was a perfect fit," explains Donny.

"We couldn't be more thrilled to extend Donny & Marie's run at Flamingo Las Vegas," said Rick Mazer, president of the famed center Strip property. "Not only are Donny & Marie some of the Strip's most popular entertainers, but they've truly become part of our family. We're proud and honored to have them call the Flamingo 'home' and we know their fans will be just as ecstatic to learn they'll have the opportunity to see them perform here throughout the year."

America's most-loved brother-sister duo shares five decades of entertaining in a non-stop, 90-minute show of live music, singing and dancing. Donny & Marie feature some of their chart-topping hits, including "Puppy Love," "Paper Roses," "Morning Side of the Mountain," "I'm Leavin' it (All) Up To You" and "Soldier of Love." This showcase of unmatched harmonies continues today with their recent number one hit, "A Beautiful Life," from their duet album, "Donny & Marie" (2011).

Donny delivers a commanding performance, featuring hits from his solo career, and an updated hip hop rendition of The Osmond Brother's classic "Yo-Yo," with innovative choreography and rockin' vocals, proving why America voted him ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" Champion, season nine.

Marie's country music style is blazing hot with a mash-up of "These Boots Were Made For Walkin'" and Aerosmith's "Walk this Way." A line dance with four muscle-toned cowboys and crystal-encased guitar feels like a country fair stage on fire.

Donny & Marie perform at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday - Saturday in the Flamingo Showroom at Flamingo Las Vegas. 2013 performance dates begin Tuesday, Feb. 12.Tickets range in price from $95 - $260 (plus taxes and fees) and are available at the Flamingo Box Office, by phone at (702) 733-3333 or (800) 221-7299 or by visiting www.flamingolasvegas.com.
