Boyd Gaming Announces 2012-13 Holiday Entertainment

December is a great month to be connected with Boyd Gaming, with special dining deals, promotions and a great selection of holiday entertainment at The Orleans, Gold Coast, Suncoast and Sam's Town.

The pioneer-themed Mystic Falls Park Light and Water Show at Sam's Town has been transformed into an immersive winter wonderland experience. Garland streams, wreath-adorned lampposts, and white light and snow-covered trees fill the atrium, while Cowboy Santa takes up residence in the Park's gazebo Thursday through Sunday from now until December 23. And every hour from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. through January 1, a 15-minute laser-light holiday spectacular, concluding with artificial snowfall, will enchant guests.

Suncoast is also in the holiday spirit with more than 7,500 holiday lights on display inside and throughout the property, along with six nutcrackers, 25 light-adorned trees, a large poinsettia tree in the main entrance, and poinsettias throughout the casino floor.

For the 28th consecutive year, Boyd Gaming properties throughout the Las Vegas Valley will be jam-packed with activities for Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (WNFR), with exclusive post-rodeo events, parties and concerts nightly December 6-15.

Two highlighted WNFR events are the award-winning National Finals Tonight® Show and Gary Leffew's Legendary Buck'N Ball – both of which take place at the Gold Coast nightly following the rodeo each evening.

Wednesday, December 12, is Boyd Gaming sponsor night at the WNFR. The company will produce an opening ceremony paying tribute to the men and women of our military, and recognizing the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Guadalcanal, one of the pivotal battles of World War II.
