The Smith Center for the Performing Arts offers free, guided walking tours on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 10:30 a.m. of the world-class campus highlighting its architectural accomplishments, artwork and historic overview. Tours last approximately 60 minutes and are limited to 20 patrons per tour. To register for a tour, visit www.TheSmithCenter.com.

KODO, the legendary taiko drummers from Japan, bring the latest iteration of their ever-evolving "One Earth Tour" to North America. Titled "Legend," the production was created under the direction of Japanese Living National Treasure Tamasaburo Bando - full of Japanese drums, music and stunning stagecraft. Called "musical perfection" by The Boston Globe, "KODO brings to life a unique culture, four powerful seasons and the great beauty of the natural world."

In February, we celebrate Black History Month with a tribute to Ella, Joe and Basie. Count Basie's music, characterized by a blues-steeped jumping beat and contrapuntal piano accents, was a showcase for top-singers. The program honors two great singers whose performances with the Count have reached legendary proportions.

All aboard for this saucy and splendid production of Roundabout Theatre Company's "ANYTHING GOES," winner of three 2011 Tony Awards including Best Musical Revival and Choreography. One of the greatest musicals in theater history, Cole Porter's first-class musical comedy is sailing to Las Vegas, while it continues a triumphant run on Broadway.

Led by conductor Keith Lockhart, also of the Boston Pops, the BBC Concert Orchestra has been entertaining audiences for an astonishing 60 years. Known for the world's longest-running music TV show, "Friday Night is Music Night," the BBC Concert Orchestra brings an evening of Walton, Haydn and Mendelssohn to Las Vegas. Renowned cellist Sophie Shao joins the orchestra to present an eloquent and powerful evening of musical inspiration.

A virtuoso of the violin, Itzhak Perlman enjoys superstar status rarely afforded a classical musician. Born in Israel and educated in New York, Perlman has earned respect worldwide for his charm and humanity, as well as his talent. Having a longstanding relationship with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra and collaborations with composer John Williams on scores for films such as "Schindler's List" and "Memoirs of a Geisha," Perlman brings remarkable artistry and irrepressible joy to the City of Las Vegas along with accompanist Rohan De Silva.

The good times roll with the Las Vegas Philharmonic and a scorching hot night of New Orleans jazz. Just in time for Mardi Gras, the charismatic trumpeter and vocalist Byron Stripling will lead all your favorite Mardi Gras tunes such as "Down By the Riverside," a medley of songs made famous by Mahalia Jackson, and "Bourbon Street Parade." Stripling is joined by his drummer and special guest Bobby Floyd on the Hammond B3 organ.

Six-time Grammy Award nominee, Richard Smallwood, will join together with the Las Vegas Philharmonic and VISION gospel choir for the first ever "The Artistry of Gospel" concert event. The program will feature inspirational songs written by Smallwood and rousing gospel classics. The concert will benefit the Unity Village Family Life Center, a non-profit social organization founded to educate, empower and enrich the lives of individuals, children and families in the Las Vegas community.
